JUNIOR HIGH SUNDAY SCHOOL
Today we talked about being a decision-maker. Our main passage was Mark 15:1-15
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark+15%3A1-15&version=NIV
We talked about how Pilate was pressured to condemn an innocent man to death. Pilate knew better. He was convinced that Jesus was innocent of any treason or rebellion against the Roman government and yet he let the religious leaders push his buttons. We talked about what it would like if we were in Pilate's shoes. We also talked about what our buttons are today? What makes us afraid? What makes us violate our convictions? We had an opportunity to examine our heart, name one thing that we doing right now that deep down we know is wrong and determine to please God and be free of secret sin and an inconsistent Christian lifestyle.

JUNIOR HIGH YOUTHQUEST
Tonight was our last night as a junior high group for the year 2011-2012. Even though everyone wasn't here, we still had a great time. Montana gave a valedictorian speech, we played some games, had some chicken, samosas and noodles and of course, a study.
We looked at mark 14:32-36. This time we focused on the community that Jesus had when he was going through times of anguish and pressure.
Our challenges for the summer are to:
1. Continue building our spiritual friendships
2. Change the World.
GREENSBOROUGH FUN FAIR
Yesterday was Greensborough Public School's Career Fair. Cornerstone gets to be a part of this amazing annual event as a community rep. It was well attended, and people had a blast!

SENIOR HIGH YOUTHQUEST
Tonight was our final night of the 2011-2012 school year for high school students. We started off our time by reading some stories from World Vision reminding us about the tough situations that people face all over the world due to poverty. We spent some time praying for them.
We watched a video about identity and studied a few verses:
Isaiah 41:10
1 Peter 2:9-12
Matthew 5:13-16
Then we asked the question, "How do I know there is a God?" We had some very good discussions around this topic.
We also had some pizza :)
