JUNIOR HIGH YOUTHQUEST
On Friday, The junior highs gathered at TMC in full force after the March Break. We played some crazy games as usual and then buckled down to discuss our "Kingdom Experiment" (Chapter 7). It is exciting to hear about the young people living our their faith. Some people, "bit their tongue," in honour of James 1:19, Some gave hugs to promote love and peace, we read a book about peace, and much more.
We watched an inspirational video (Jessica Cox - look ma, no hands) http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/rightfooted-the-documentary-about-jessica-cox?c=gallery
We also studied James 1 in our small groups and talked about perseverance.
We introduced chapter 8 of the Kingdom Experiment, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" - Matthew 5:10

YOUTHQUEST LEADERSHIP TEAM
On Sunday morning (before service) a group of youth and adult leaders met to learn about leadership. This time around, we talked about the fact that God wants leaders to be people of integrity. When leaders lead with integrity, they reflect God's heart and demonstrate Christ-like character that attracts and inspires others. Our homework was Genesis 39:1-20 (the story of Joseph). Leaders with integrity
1. Examine their actions
2. Strive for consistency
3. Practice honesty
Our memory verse was Proverbs 27:19 - As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the real person.

JUNIOR HIGH YOUTHQUEST
On Friday our grades 6-8 got together. We played some crazy games and went through chapter 6 of the "Kingdom Experiment." - Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God (Matthew 5:8). It was great continuing to hear how the youth are rising to the challenge of putting their faith into action. We also spent some time in small groups getting to know each other better. We ended off our time praying for Cornerstone's Nic 9 team, which included two young guys from our group!

YOUTHQUEST SENIOR HIGH
Tonight we had a great night visiting our local fire hall. We brought them a cake and some butter tarts. They really enjoyed our snacks and gave us a full tour of the place. We really learned a lot and appreciated their passion and commitment to the community. We prayed for them and their families.
