Back after the Christmas break!
This month, we are talking to the boys about the Character Matters trait of fairness:
"We are sensitive to the needs of each individual. We treat each other as we want to be treated ourselves. We interact with others without stereotyping, prejudice, or discrimination. We stand up for human rights."
We talked about how our program is different from the other places that they play because of our focus on character and making space for people of all skill levels. Both sessions had a great night. The junior session was decided by 2 points and the senior session was decided by 1 point. This happened while involving all players regardless of the level of basketball skills.
